The Role
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic SDR that is driven by change. Working directly with the sales team you will be responsible for generating leads and qualifying prospects. As each prospective client is different, we are seeking a developer that thinks creatively to tailor their approach to each unique opportunity, and building relationships is at the forefront of that.
As a Business Development Executive you will:
Conduct in-bound and out-bound campaign activities to business prospects in an assigned territory
Prospect and identify key decision-makers at target companies and start building the foundation for a strong relationship
Contact, qualify, and manage leads from demand generation activities
Rate leads per established criteria and pass off as appropriate to assigned Area Sales Manager
Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending regular emails and qualifying opportunities into the Account Executive pipeline)
Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of qualified opportunities
Collaborate with sales reps to maximize prospect potential, working closely with Account Executives to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new sales opportunities
Work with the team to identify, analyze, understand customer needs and potential obstacles around MeVitae products. Find opportunities to explore and target.
To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and experience:
Proven experience in the B2B space including a strong track record of exceeding targets;
Demonstrable passion and experience of winning new business;
Experience building and managing relationships, and collaborating with internal partners and external counterparts
Experience in using Hubspot CRM tool for logging prospect activity and reporting sales metrics is essential;
Experience working in a start-up environment highly desirable;
Experience working with and/or selling to senior HR professionals is beneficial;
Passionate about technology and enthusiastic about providing solutions that address the issues and challenges facing employers;
