Why do we care?

Both human cognition and artificial intelligence are limited in their capacity and are, unfortunately, prone to making several biases. As a consequence of poorer decision making in the hiring process, organisations lack diversity, reducing overall performance and revenue.

Can this problem ever be fixed? While human biases can never be eliminated, the closest we currently have to a solution is Augmented Intelligence – a deep learning system capable of processing data (& lots of it!) just like humans, but free of distortions so that accurate, informed hiring decisions can be made, free of bias.

Our story

MeVitae was founded in 2014 by two award-winning Oxonians, Riham Satti and Vivek Doraiswamy. Riham is a neuroscientist by background who is passionate about the science of decision-making, while Vivek is a computer scientist who firmly believes in the power of machines. Here at MeVitae, they aim to solve the challenge of bringing people and machines together in a way that unleashes human potential. Since starting their entrepreneurial journey many years ago, MeVitae has helped companies and partners around the world to be more diverse, transformational and inclusive.
