The Role

As a Full Stack Developer with a backend emphasis, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our technology stack, driving projects that blend cutting-edge backend logic with sleek, functional frontend designs. We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with a backend emphasis to enrich our team. This role balances front and backend development tasks, with a predominant focus on backend processes. You will demonstrate expertise in Go, Rust, and C#, along with proficiency in front-end technologies like CSS, TypeScript, Next.js, React, and TSX.

Responsibilities

• Technical Design and Implementation: Engage in architectural design sessions and technical discussions for developing robust backend systems as well as responsive front-end interfaces. You will also draft, and review implementation plans to ensure efficient execution of projects.

• Code Review Participation: Take an active role in code review sessions by providing thoughtful and constructive feedback on peers’ pull requests. Quickly and effectively action feedback received on your own pull requests to maintain code quality and progress.

• Development Task Management: Execute daily programming tasks with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Go, Rust, C#, CSS, TypeScript, Next.js, React, and TSX. This includes debugging and troubleshooting software issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Dependency and Security Management: Oversee the management of software dependencies to prevent security vulnerabilities, maintain up-to-date libraries, and ensure software compatibility across projects.

• Security Policy Adherence: Collaborate in the formulation and revision of security policies to align with industry best practices. Ensure that all code adheres to established security protocols and guidelines to protect sensitive data and systems.

Skills and Experience

• Backend Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in backend development with substantial experience in Go, Rust, and C#.

• Frontend Development Skills: Skills in front-end development using CSS, TypeScript, Next.js, React, and TSX.

• Software Development Lifecycle Knowledge: Understanding of the software development lifecycle, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

• Security Practices Familiarity: Practical experience with software security practices, vulnerability assessments, and implementing security-focused code enhancements.

• Problem Solving and Teamwork: Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, capable of clearly articulating technical challenges and solutions to a varied audience.
