MeVitae awarded as a supplier to the UK government G-Cloud 13 Framework

Blind recruiting company, MeVitae, are proud to announce that they have been accepted onto the UK government’s Crown Commercial Service (CCS) procurement framework G-Cloud 13, providing cloud software via the digital marketplace. For the first time, organisations can find, and purchase, MeVitae’s solutions, including its CV anonymisation tool, on the governments digital market place.

The UK Government’s CCS G-Cloud 13

G-cloud 13 offers public sector organisations a simple, compliant way of purchasing cloud-based services on a Digital Marketplace catalogue. The G-cloud framework launched in 2012, with the aim of easing the procurement process for the UK government and other public sector bodies. Now, the G-Cloud 13, which launched last week, is the 13th iteration of the G-Cloud, and it consists of four product types (4 Lots), including Cloud Hosting, Cloud Software and Cloud Support. In this latest iteration, MeVitae has joined over 5000 suppliers who have been awarded a place on the agreement, offering its solutions within the cloud software (Lot 2) of the framework. For the first-time, public-sector organisations can easily purchase MeVitae’s blind recruiting tool on the governments marketplace, ensuring smarter faster, and fairer hiring decisions.

Now being displayed on the Governments digital marketplace, public sector organisations will be able to access, review, and purchase MeVitae’s blind recruiting with the click of a few buttons. As such, companies will be able to upload candidate CVs, cover letters, and supporting documents to the cloud, and the blind recruiting  tool will be able to redact over 20 different personal identifiers from the documents in real time, using Natural Language Processing, computer vision, and AI. This enables recruiters and hiring managers to detect talent and potential, free of distortion from cognitive and algorithmic bias, for smarter, faster, and fairer hiring decisions. New customers can now expect;

  • A talent pool twice the size

  • A blind recruiting system, fitting seamlessly into current HR functions

  • A time-efficient shortlisting process, with 600 CV’s redacted in just 6 seconds

  • Redactions of any document type with an accuracy of 95%

  • A cognitive and algorithmic bias free hiring process

  • A 30% increase of D&I within the organisation

“We are delighted to have been included in the G-Cloud 13 framework.” Said CEO, Riham Satti. “We have seen the demand for our blind recruiting solution skyrocket over the last 18 months, especially in the public sector, and so we are very happy to be featured, becoming even more accessible for these organisations.”

In just a few years MeVitae has helped drive diversity into organisations worldwide across, from public sector, to enterprise companies, and by now being available on the governments digital marketplace, MeVitae hopes to continue making its impact on the public sector.
